Morning Light | T-shirt Design
The old shirt is a blue polo shirt with the logo on left chest area which is similar to most of the company uniform. Also, the shirt is in a very bright blue color. However, we are a fellowship with a group of young people around 24-30 years old. Moreover, the towel material makes shirt very rough. Polo shirt is not the fashion trend at this age group. As a result, our brothers and sisters don’t ware this shirt unless we have special event that requires us to wear our shirt.
When we first started redesigning the T-shirt, we talked to our fellowship members about their opinions of the old T-shirt. And then we decided to go for a black T-shirt with a better material so that people can wear more often.
My plan is to have Christian elements in the design and it is challenge at the beginning. I tried many fonts but they all too formal. Therefore, I end up using my iPad and combine the “T” with cross and Ichthys to create a unique handwritten logo. I also put the logo I redesign on the left sleeve.
